WEDDING DAY KWENTO

when i woke up i had a smile on my face... i knew our wedding day was gonna be beautiful. im so excited na pero trying so hard to stay in bed kasi 10am pa naman ang sked ko mag bathtub and shower. called my sweetie and asked him if he got na the manila bulettin. then nag-deliver na din ung pen sa room ko ng paper. ayos, nasa about weddings kami (thanks mama benz!). me and my mom had breakfast sent sa room while my sisters went down sa buffet. tapos tawag si rod, robert's asst. ano ba daw ang gusto ko talga may peonies or wala ang bouquet ko... dun lang namin na-finalize hehe...

i checked with the pen what time pwede mag check in si neal. galing 930am pwede na =) neal arrived at the hotel 10am then sumunod na ang family nya from paranaque.

dating na ung mag steam ng gown ko... ganda ng gown ko at grabe haba ng train ... when i was in the tub tawag na si chito. 12pm ang call time ha pero 1030 andyan na! tapos dating na din ang 3logy. then angie and ogie my hmu artists.

tawag si neal... di daw makakapunta ung isang ss wala daw magbabantay sa baby nya. no prob bf nalang ni sis in law para partner sila. nagpa deliver ako ng pizza for my family and suppliers while i had room service. wala akong maisip na makain so just had lumpiang gulay, na i regret kasi dapat mas madami akong kinain! dapat pala talga lumamon kasi you will need all the energy you can get.

tapos yan na dumating na ang flowers mga 1145. nagulat ako pink ung peonies ko, wanted sana an all white bouquet.. pero mas maganda nga naman ang pink peonies than white at ang cute nya talga. there were 6 pink ones and 1 two-tone (white and pink). ang fluffy talga just as i wanted and super bango kakaiba =) tapos yan na hair and make up na ako. ang ganda ng hair ko. ogie did a fantastic job. angie as always did wonders. my face was super peeling stressed out talga ako overly dry ang skin ko, but she did an amazing job =)

hirap na hirap ako mag pose for chito at first. medyo nervous pa ang smile ko ... pero when i had my dress on, bride na talga ang feeling ko. i didnt mind posing na that much, at mas natural na ang smile ko. 8 kaming inayusan ng hmua so si neal medyo impatient na for his turn. talgang excited pumunta ng church! when we got the pics nagreklamo na naman sakin na hindi daw maayos ang hair nya sa preps pics nya kasi daw ang tagal namin magpa make up hehe. si neal daan pa ng lobby, he checked if our limo was there na. tuwang tuwa at nakita nya ang limo before he left... pero before that pala tumawag ung isang ss sa kanya. sympre wala din sya. freak accident naman daw he fell sa chair while trying to get something... oh well e di bf ng moh ko ang replacement no prob =)

tapos yan na time to go down. medyo we're running late... i decided no more pics na sa lobby. we had to go. so yun pagbaba nakalimutan ung car flowers. tapos my tita wore daw the wrong earrings! so hintay pa ako sa lobby tsk tsk. this was the only time nainis ako this day =p at last pasakay na kami ng car. sympre pose pa ako hehe. ganda ng limo, 5 kami inside. i was with my mom, neal's mom, my sis and neal's sis. delegate na ako ng stuff sa sis ko. sabi ko first thing you do is pay the quartet then settle na the ento. ang galing ng driver i think 20 mins lang ang travel time, we were there ng 410. so paikot ikot lang ung limo while waiting... ang daming cars grabe. sunod2 kasi ang kasal that day. while waiting in the car i called my bestfriend who was supposed to help make asikaso my ento, and her daughter was our flowergirl. ayun wala pa din daw sila. sabi ko anak nalang nya ang kulang sa ento... although i had 3 fgs 2 lang talga magma march kasi neal's niece is only 2 yrs old...pero no prob, the show has to go on. besides 2 ss nga ang no show diba.

when i went down the car, my designer and mua were there. yan na kinabit na ang train ko. ang galing pagbaba ko it was my turn na talga. tapos pinapa march na ako ng guy from mc. sabi ko that's not my song pa. hehehe. presence of mind.... so yun hinintay ko pa ang bridal march song ko 'i finally found someone'... medyo teary eyed ako at first and then gosh ang bigat ng train. e medyo nanghihina pa ata ako kasi nga ang konti lang ng lunch ko. tumatagilid ang lakad ko! gosh i wish hindi halata. so after that i just had full smiles and forgot about crying. i walked oh so slowly just as my designer told me at ang ganda daw =) i met my mom halfway and only in the pics did i see that my mom was crying habang ako ang laki ng smile ko hehe. si neal naman ang kwento sakin di daw sya masyado tumitingin kasi baka daw maiyak sya haha! basta happy ako sabi nya payat daw ako =)

pag-akyat ng altar kamuntik na ako matumba kasi inuunahan ko si neal umakyat. pamahiin ng mom ko. unahan ko daw si neal para hindi ako under hehe. mabuti naman di ako natumba at successful ako. mabuti nalang cousin ni neal ung priest... or else papagalitan nya kami. tawa kami ng tawa ni neal. tapos nung naka kneel na kami nahulog ba naman ni neal ung bouquet ko. kakainis diba? thats one blooper... and may time na tatayo kami na di naman dapat. very minor lang naman no prob...ito ang funny, while we were making our vows si neal sinisigaw nya hahaha! napigilan ko lang talga ang sarili ko tumawa pero it was so funny. one last thing, sumakit and likod ko kaka straight body. grabe ang hirap pala ng model =p

we had a beautiful ceremony. my readers were all there, sjt played beautifully and happy kami na half over na ang wedding namin! then we had pictorial outside the church grabe ang init! pinapawisan ako kakainis. tapos we were supposed pa to go to baywalk pero we were losing the sun so di nalang. pero tong si neal binuksan ang sunroof at tayo kami. in the middle of roxas blvd. sympre ang bantot ng air at medyo nasira sira na ata ang veil ko kasi ang hangin. anyways baba din ako pero tong si neal enjoy pa ata sya. we had so much fun sa car, especially si neal. pahiga higa pa sya hahaha.

we arrived at the hotel 645 na. our reception was supposed to start at 7. we had time pa for pictorials. we went up the 3rd floor... di pwede ang staircase at the 2nd flr, may reception din sa conservatory. grabe almost an hour pala kami nag pics! kaya pala pagod na pagod na ako habang si chito walang sawa mag pic. so yun txt na my sister super gutom na daw mga tao. pagdating ko sa ballroom andyan na naman my designer and mua. ganda ng ballroom! robert did a great job. after my ento had their entrace kami naman. my designer told me to wear my train sa grand entrance and so i did. arte ng designer ko no hehe, pinsan ko talga. it was so nice seeing the ballroom puno. ang galing talga ng coordinators ko =)

the reception went by so fast since 8 na sya nag start. short lang kasi our program and i wanted to finish early. so pag-upo namin prayer na agad then picture taking and then dinner. tapos my singer, my friend's daughter eh nervous daw sya. if she can sing na daw. so ayun imbis na 2 separate songs, magkasunod na. then we had our avp presentation. then the bestman's toast, speeches then first dance/money dance. kakatawa to, though we had slow danced before na no sweat, na blackout ata ako. i didnt know where to put my hands, at tong si neal nalito kaya di na din nya alam hehe. im sure it will be great to see that on video. money dance ito medyo palpak. kasi i didnt want naman ng money dance. pero my mom insisted on it. sabi nya sya daw bahala... pero mukhang di sya prepared that day. ang kasalanan ko naman dito 1 song lang ang naibigay ko sa mobile. e that was the last song sa cd kaya wala ng kasunod. kaya while we were having our first dance bigla kong naisip. i was queing our emcee to start na the money dance kasi mauubos na ang music. galing nga at least naisip ng mobile na ulitin nalang ang song... anyways we didnt get that much sa money dance kasi pinatigil ko na din sya and our host was not directing the thing... well i didnt ask her to naman... but ok lang no prob. we then had our cake cutting and wine toasting. then instead of bouquet throwing we offered flowers to our moms. then speech na namin. sympre hindi ako prepared. basta i thanked everyone and then i thanked my suppliers hahaha! imagine i thanked my suppliers and didnt give special mention to our sponsors hahaha! ang dami ko din hindi nasabi pero ok lang alam naman ni sweetie lahat yun. si neal naman naiiyak nung speech nya. tapos he said pa na i arranged the whole wedding and that he owes all his success to me... haaay ang sarap =)

thats the end na of our reception. it was really fast i think we ended ng 1030... not bad. after we paid the hotel and said goodbye to guests, pictorial na naman this time sa 2f and staircase. then we went up the room na. nasa suite pa ang family ko. ang naghubad ng gown ko was my sis hahaha. sabi nga nya di ba daw magagalit si neal kasi dapat sya gumagawa nun. super super pagod na talga ako. tong si neal wanted to open pa all the gifts imagine! eh 48 gifts kaya yun. pumipikit pikit na mata ko pero sige pa din. tapos yun pumayag din matulog na =) so thats our wedding day. im so proud to say that i had a balance of having presence of mind and enjoying myself. it was truly a day to remember... next is supplier ratings =)
