IF LOOKS CAN KILL

As early as now Anton appreciates girls. Be it young or older he likes them. Basta sexy hehe. I think I already mentioned here that he stole a kiss from Teacher Shine from the Therapy Center. As in bigla nalang nya kiniss. Nagselos tuloy si Teacher Edessa. And when we were in Cebu nga there was a Korean couple walking on the beach. Sinundan talaga ng tingin ni Anton yung Korean girl who was wearing a bikini. And when the couple passed by us again the girl said "He's so cute" and Anton said "Hi". When they walked away gusto pang sundan ni Anton.

And just this morning while Anton and Yaya were riding the swing in the playground, my VJ neighbor passed by the area and he had a tall skinny girl with him. Syempre tingin si Anton. Akala ko nga mababali na ang leeg sa kakatitig.

At least alam namin ni Neal na di bading ang anak namin :) Pero nafe-feel ko na ang sakit sa ulo that my hunky son will bring us soon.

OUR CEBU TRIP

This trip was just planned a week before we left. I did not want to go at first kasi sayang ang leave ko and it was with Neal's officemates so baka di sya mag-enjoy. But Neal wanted us with him so off we went. Just the three of us.

Our flight to Cebu was at 6:30 am and we successfully left the house at 5:30 am. We were picked up by a gray Vios from Global One, my favorite car rental company.

As expected Anton was already hyper from the car, to the kiddie area at the airport, and all the way through the flight.

It was raining when we landed in Cebu but it stopped when we got to our hotel. Here's the pool of the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Yes, of course Anton wanted to get inside the pool.

Marco Polo Cebu came through. They gave us the king size bed. Love them!

Marco Polo has a glass elevator where you can see a great view of Cebu. And Anton loves the ride up. View and all. Walang katakot takot sa heights and flying. Here's a view from the penthouse.

Marco Polo also has a kiddie area. They had samples of the Leap Pad and Leapster but Anton preferred to play with this.

The trip will not be complete w/o going to Ayala Center. Anton is up to his old tricks. Here he is at his favorite game. Swipe away Daddy!

On our second day Neal and his officemates went to Bohol while Anton and I stayed in the hotel. Anton swam a bit in the pool (Mas gusto nya kasama Daddy nya) and we visited the kiddie area again. After lunch my friend from Cebu picked us up at our hotel and we drove around the city. We had dinner in SM where Neal met up with us. Sabi nga ng friend ko she wanted sana to take us somewhere else but the minute Anton touched her car's kambyo feeling nya baka daw ma-bore si Anton kung resto lang. Don't say I didn't warn you Alpha :) Thanks for the dinner at sa uulitin ha!

These are photos from our last day in Cebu. Buti naalala ko magpa-picture sa lobby. This is just before we visited the beach.

We arrived in Shangri-la Mactan at about 10 am and the sun was shining so hot and high. It was the perfect time to go to the beach. The past days it was drizzling on and off. Check out how hot it is. Do you feel the heat?

We did not arrange for a day tour since it's P2,000 per head. We did spend an hour here though. Anton loves it. Their beach looks like Boracay.

Ang ganda talaga dito. When we go back to Cebu I hope we can stay here.

My beach hunk.

Then we went to Tambuli for the day tour. It's only P350 per head and P300 is consumable pa. We had their lunch buffet (P450) and the food was just ok. Anton barely ate as he was screaming to go to the beach.

The beach is so different from Shangri-la. The sand had a lot of stones and the water was not as blue. But they had this little corner na malilim so dito lang kami cos it was too hot. Anton loved it though and didn't want to leave the water.
So that's our Cebu trip. We really couldn't do more since Anton was super hyper ang gulo. It was a really tiring but enjoyable trip. Too bad I was not able to take more photos dahil I forgot to charge the battery hehe. I can't wait for our next trip. Next on the list is Boracay.

4TH DAY

It's our (me and Anton) 4th day on the GFCF diet and I think I already cheated yesterday. Neal and I went to a birthday party in Summer Palace and I had some birthday noodles and some soup with tofu. I didn't eat the tofu pieces but I'm sure I had some. Well at least it's not whole milk. Sabi naman ni doc bawal lang sakin whole milk pero I want to do the full diet like my son. And OAP's latest posts do not help. Waaaah I love frozen yougurt!

For sure this diet will make me fatter. I stopped eating rice for dinner a couple of months ago but now I'm bringing it back cos I am deprived of my chocolate fix. Huhuhu.

DALAGA ULIT

After 2 yrs 9 mos and 3 wks I have my period back. Just found out this morning here at the office. Thanks to my officemate for the 'sandwich' hihihi.

MAJOR PROJECT

This is the term my generation used ages ago to define an ambitious and enormous task. And this is the suitable term to define what my son and I are about to start.

Over lunch we visited Anton's pediatrician Dra. Chen. I just made the appointment this morning because my son was out of natural remedies for his colds. So instead of just buying the medicines I decided to bring Anton along so that Dra. can check up on him too.

What seemed like a very simple, unnecessary trip to the pedia will turn out to be a lifestyle changing moment for me (Help me Lord!)

Dra. noticed that Anton was still very clingy and fussy so she asked if Anton was on the GFCF diet. I've already read on this here, here and here even before Anton started his OT and it says that not only autistic children can benefit from this diet but virtually everyone even myself. Dra. Chen suggested that we put Anton on this diet for 3 months. Just a trial. She also mentioned that I should not take whole milk since I am breastfeeding Anton. Now I want to be on this diet too so that I can set a good example for Anton (and hopefully decrease my bloatedness). But how can I say no to ice cream, bread and cheese which are my favorites? Major project. That's all I can say.

THE SWEETEST THING

I just got off the phone and I just heard the sweetest words. Anton is still talking in Chinese/Japanese (read cannot be understood) but when I was saying my I love you's and bye bye's I swear I heard him say 'I love you'. Gosh I'm teary eyed I swear. This is the best part of being a mommy :)

2 MOVIES

I just want to throw out my opinion on the last 2 movies I saw. We watched Hancock the other Saturday in Powerplant and Wanted last Sunday in Greenbelt 3. Hands down Wanted was the better movie. And I think James McAvoy is hot. I don't know this guy, it's the first time I've seen him in a movie but he has a great character and I'm loving him.

It's also the first time I watched a movie in G3 after 3 years. Powerplant I think has a bigger screen but G3 has better seats and much better popcorn. But we will still take Powerplant any day. It's only 5 minutes away from Anton :)

Speaking of hot men I discovered something on TV. Lipstick Jungle is on 2nd Avenue every Mondays 9pm. I stumbled on this show a couple of weeks ago and I usually don't bother with those kinds of shows since I can't watch it naman every single week but then I saw this young hot guy who is having an affair with the blonde woman. Then I was hooked. I don't even know the guy's name but he's so cutie. Sobra akong inspired baka magkaron na ng kapatid si Anton. Let's just say Neal also loves this show. Hahahaha!

TAMAD ME

I haven't been updating my blog, answering tags and bloghopping for months already. Let's just say I'm in a very uninspired state. I am still a little stressed about Anton's development and although I know blogging will help me release some of it I am very tamad. I am also very busy with mom mom's multiple visa applications and my sister's wedding preparations. Panay excuse I know. Slowly but surely I'll be posting Anton's activities in his OT sessions. I want to go back to reading them in the future when Anton finally blooms.

OFFICIALLY RESIGNED

This morning my sister went to the US Embassy for her visa appointment. She was there before 6am for her 7am appointment. As expected she was only called at 11am and the consul only interviewed her for 5 minutes. It was all worth the effort because her fiance visa was approved. After 6 months of waiting it's all really happening now. And as my sister said 'This is it!'

And just this afternoon, after lunch she tendered her resignation. It will be effective Aug 15 and she can't wait to go to Phoenix and be with her fiance. Of course she scheduled her flight na ang everything. She leaves Aug 20. Now we are busy looking for suppliers for her Dec 09 wedding. I'm so excited and happy for her :)

TV DANCING

Before I upload the main photos of our Cebu trip, I believe these photos and videos of Anton watching TV deserve its own post.

I think I mentioned before that Anton is passionate about everything he does. Whether he sings, dances or whines he does it to the maximum level.

So here he is in our hotel room in Marco Polo. First thing Neal does is of course turn on the TV. Here's Anton watching Nick Jr. with feelings. I'm glad Neal captured this while I was busy hanging my clothes (take note mine only hehehe).

Ang kulit diba? Ganyan talaga yan manood ng TV parang kinikilig. Di pa ako tapos. May videos pa. They're both really good. Enjoy :)

RAFFLE WINNER

I went to Expo Mom last May 17 just to check on what's new and I was pleasantly surprised when a couple of days after the event my friend messaged me that she heard my name being called out as a winner of a raffle prize. I was really surprised because I never win anything in raffles. My friend told me to follow it up because even if the winners were not present during the draw the prize will be delivered.

Of course being the forgetful me this slipped my mind until my friend reminded me a month after the event. That's when I called Expo Mom and inquired about my prize. I think the girl just took note of my name and contact number and she told me they will call me back. They never did but last Wed I got a call from Expo Mom verifying my address. They will deliver something daw for my baby.

While we were in Cebu last Friday this was delivered.

Kahit na maliit sana naisip nila na boy ang anak ko. Well better late (and wrong item) than never diba. Already gave this to my officemate's daughter who's my inaanak. Thanks Alma for always following this up.

FIRST HOUR

We're back from our Cebu trip and I'd like to share our photos during the first hour of our getaway. Here are photos at the departure area and inside the plane before take-off.

Inside the kiddie area of the Domestic Airport

Peekaboo

Ginawang runway ang plane. I think they went back and forth twice.

Look how I look at 6 am hahaha!

We were on the 6:30 am Cebu Pacific flight. Hindi pa kami nag take off mukha na akong mega harrassed hehe. This is just the start of our very exciting trip. It's our first trip without yaya and it was super sakit sa katawan. But the most important thing is Anton enjoyed the trip and I couldn't be happier. More pics and kwento to follow.

IT'S ALL GOOD

Yesterday was Pasig Day and this is the best thing about working in Pasig. You get a free holiday. Yipee! So I did some more shopping for our trip to Cebu. I purchased 2 more nursing shirts from Havin' a Baby (I only have 1) since for sure Anton will want to feed in public and I don't have a yaya for extra help.

In the car on the way home Anton wanted to feed. So I tried the nursing bib I just bought and Anton did not like the bib at all! I don't know if it's the black color or the thought of being under a blanket. Basta ayaw nya talaga. Humingi nalang sya ng crackers kay yaya. Now I think the nursing bib is more than a good buy. Ayaw na ni Anton mag-feed sa public hehe. Now if only I knew that before I bought the 2 nursing shirts. It would have saved me P1,270 :)

RAIN OR SHINE

Rain or shine (most likely it will be rain according to this) Neal is taking us with him on his business leisure trip (his incentive for reaching his sales quota) to Marco Polo Cebu from tomorrow til Sunday. I would have loved to stay at Shangri-la Mactan but their rate is P6,500++ per night compared to free rooms at Marco Polo. So saan ka pa diba? Maybe we'll have a day trip at Shang or at some beach when the weather permits because Anton just loves the sand.

I just called up Marco Polo to check on some of their amenities and I was disappointed. I asked if they had hair dryers and they do, I asked if they had a play room and they did though it's P100 daw per hour in excess of the free first 30 mins. and then I requested for a king size bed and they cannot confirm yet. They said they only have 2 king beds per floor since they mostly cater to business people. So I asked if we can connect the double beds and hindi daw pwede since the table in the middle is fixed. I cannot survive on a double bed. I'll get a terrible back ache from trying to breastfeed Anton. And this is for 2 nights. I really hope they can come through with my request for a king bed. For my back's sake.
